Question Force Tcc Lockup Diesel Place The tcc never goes past 90% lockup. i can command full lockup with the scanner and 90% is it. i can also monitor slippage rpm on the same screen and it increases with 90% lockup as speed increases, as it should. this is a low mile gm goodwrench rebuild that has worked fine for about 2 years now. the tcc has to be pulse width modulated. Try pressing the throttle farther down next time, that should either unlock the converter or kick you down to third. either way, your rpm's will go up and you'll make more power. if more petal doesn't work, use you hand and pull that lever down a notch to 3. shifting into 3rd changes the locking sequence.
