Our Living Hope Logos Sermons This is the story that we celebrate on easter sunday easter is not whenever we look at the doom and gloom of “good” friday. easter is the day where we celebrate the greatest victory in the history of victories as our savior defeated sin and death. we celebrate our living hope as jesus christ rose from the grave alive!. Blessed be the god and father of our lord jesus christ! according to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of jesus christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by god’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. – 1. As the "elect" (chosen) of god, we are the recipients of many blessings that god offers to all who will obey and follow christ. one of these blessings is described in 1pe 1:3 5. there we learn that god has caused us to be born again unto "a living hope". an understanding of this "living" hope can help christians who are "pilgrims" be more. A verse that shines like a beacon of hope in the midst of despair. it reads, "praise be to the god and father of our lord jesus christ! in his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of jesus christ from the dead." our sermon today is a triad of hope.
