I have been turned away before with a party of 2 even early at 3 4pm on a busy weekend. plan ahead! on a less crowded day like today (wednesday), it's very quiet and still has live music. house cab on hh was great and you can't go wrong with carlsbad weather and a view of the landing strip. What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was. it sits at the entrance to the carlsbad airport off palomar airport road. they have a live band in the evening. late night was 80's music. my vibe for sure. the service was excellent. omar assisted us. we both had the ny strip. i had rice pilaf and my friend had the fries. she said best fries she's.
