I agree. i think the only one who says that ex jws are broken and can't be good friends are jws. with that being said, while i wouldn't go to a convention, it would be nice to get to know other ex jws in my area. maybe meet up once a month for a dinner at a restaurant or a social hour and see if some friendships couldn't be made.
