Ux In Agile Better With Dual Track Scrum Goodrebels In traditional ux design, extensive user research and testing form the backbone of the design process. this typically involves in depth interviews, usability testing, and iterative design adjustments based on user feedback. however, in an agile scrum environment, the time allocated for such thorough research is often significantly reduced. With the benefit of nearly 20 years of designing, leading and consulting with product teams i have come up with the following 5 rules for product teams to follow to make sure user experience (ux) design is integrated successfully into the agile process: a dedicated designer on every team. there is no compromise here. Coach the organization, the teams and the inviduals to increase their ux capabilities at their suitable pace. this encompases p.e. helping the individuals to a) spot the problems that ux can help them to solve, b) help them to explore solutions to them and c) make them aware of their progress and the benefits attained. A typical scrum team will consist of 3 elements: a product owner. a scrum master. a development team. the product owner deals with delegating tasks, prioritizing tasks to achieve goals, optimizing the value of the work of the development team and ensuring that all tasks are clear to everyone. image credit: mendix.
