It does not matter, either way is correct! from the factory, the lower, pressure line of the 700 r4 goes to the bottom fitting on the radiator; and then the line from the top fitting of the radiator goes to the top, return line of the tranny. adding an external cooler, you would go from the lower tranny line to lower radiator fitting and from.
